The North Cascades Basecamp is a family-owned and operated lodge and learning environment on 23 acres of wildlife sanctuary in the North Cascades Mountains of Washington.
Nestled at the upper end of the Methow Valley with spectacular vistas of Mt. Gardner and Goat Wall, the North Cascades Basecamp is not only a comfortable bed and breakfast-style lodge, but a great jumping off point for summer or winter recreation and naturalist endeavors. The North Cascades Basecamp is ideal for family vacations, reunions, weddings, wellness retreats, conferences, workshops and group events.
Our trails meander through 20 acres of protected cedar forest and beaver pond wetlands to the edge of the Methow River. In winter, one can access over 200 km of cross-country ski and snowshoe trails, including the Methow Valley Community Trail and the Arrowleaf Conservation Project trail systems. In summer, guests enjoy activities such as hiking, biking, bird watching, naturalist tours, fly fishing, rock climbing and river rafting, just to name a few. We are a comfortable base for your adventures in the North Cascades National Park, Pasayten and Sawtooth Wilderness, Okanogan National Forest, and the majestic Methow Valley.
